The Work-Life Works! portal (“Portal”) is owned and maintained by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP), supported by the Tripartite Committee on Work-Life Strategy (Tricom). The use of this Portal constitutes agreement with the terms and conditions provided in this agreement.

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS PORTAL.

By accessing, browsing and/or using this Portal and all information (including but not limited to the information, text, images, links, sound, graphic and video sequences displayed herein) and services on the Portal ("Content"), you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If you are not agreeable to the terms stated here, please kindly refrain from using this Portal and its associated services. TAFEP may revise these terms at any time by updating this posting. Your use after such revisions signifies your acceptance of the revised terms. Please check these terms of use periodically for changes.

Use of Portal

You may not use the Portal in a manner that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of TAFEP and of others, or violate the privacy, publicity or personal rights of TAFEP, and of others. You are also not to use the Portal for any illegal purposes, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Terms of Use.

Information on the Portal

The Portal may not cover all information available on a particular issue. Before relying on the information, you should do your own checks or obtain professional advice relevant to your particular circumstances.

For content that is found on the Portal, you are not to reproduce them anywhere else, without the prior approval from TAFEP. Please write to us at worklifeworks@tafep.sg to request for permission to do so. However, you may provide links to such content.

Site Security

You are prohibited from violating, or attempting to violate the security of the Portal, which includes but not limited to the following:

  • accessing data not intended for you;
  • attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems or network to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorisation;
  • attempting to interfere with service to any User, host or network, via means of submitting malicious software to the Portal, overloading or spamming;
  • sending unsolicited emails, including promotion and/or advertising of products or services.

Violations of the Portal security may result in civil or criminal liability. TAFEP will investigate occurrences, which may involve such violations and may involve, and co-operate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting Users who are involved in such violations.

General Disclaimer And Limitation of Liability

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (i) that you may incur on account of using, visiting or relying on any statements, opinion, representation or information in the Portal, (ii) resulting from any delay in operation or transmission, communications failure, Internet access difficulties or malfunctions in equipment or software, or (iii) the conduct or the views of any person who accesses or uses the Portal.

Governing Law

Use of the Portal and these Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any claim, questions or disputes arising from the use of the Portal shall be heard by Singapore Courts in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
